Pay Per Click Marketing - Team Lead

Join the rapidly growing Search Marketing team at Top Floor!  The PPC Team Lead works closely with clients to make sure they achieve their business goals and drive measurable results through multiple paid search platforms while managing the others on the PPC team.

The PPC Team Lead is passionate about creating impactful online advertising strategies. Creating stories that get buy-in from C-Level executives is a breeze, covering everything from data driven technical questions to high level strategy that is going to take your clients to the next level. While you will be responsible for strategy and implementation on a number of client accounts, you will also provide guidance, support, and training to a growing team of digital advertisers.

Job Duties:

  • Training team on best practices, strategy, and critical thinking skills with regards to paid advertising channels 
  • Digital Advertising Strategy Creation 
  • Ability to measure the effectiveness of strategy (rankings, traffic, conversions) and make decisions based on data 
  • Develop and manage a variety of online advertising campaigns cross-channel and cross-platform (including Paid Search, Display, Mobile, Video, Shopping etc…) 
  • Keyword research and generation 
  • Work with members of various disciplines to provide the best marketing solution to clients 
  • Creating and presenting strategy recommendations to client 
  • Client Retention – responsible for assisting team members with client issues and stepping in when necessary 
  • Recruiting – As Top Floor grows, recruiting top talent is vital. Must be able to recognize skill gaps and hire the right team members. 
  • Conflict Resolution – must be able to diffuse intense situations between clients, team members and other departments 
  • Exceptional Leadership Skills – will manage a diverse team with different backgrounds and career aspirations. Your job will be to help them get there 
  • Sales Support – while there will be no quota or expectation for driving new business, supporting sales efforts with data, strategy and in-person meetings will be an important component to the position 
  • Additional job responsibilities as assigned by Manager

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • 3+ years of hands on PPC experience 
  • Proficiency working with Google Ads, Bing Ads, Social Ads 
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word) 
  • Be a good mentor to the others on the team

Valued Additions (Not Required but a Plus):

  • Working knowledge of Drupal and WordPress content management systems 
  • Experience with Choozle Platform 
  • Experience working in WordStream 
  • A/B testing Experience
  • Usability testing experience 
  • Working knowledge of Unbounce 
  • Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager
