PR Account Executive

We’re looking for a PR/social account executive to join our team. The qualified candidate will bring excellent foundational public relations and corporate communications experience with a strong working knowledge of how to apply social media content and influence in the real world.

This is an opportunity for the right candidate to work alongside and learn from experienced professionals. In this role, you will develop media lists, pitch media, write compelling content, work with content creators and influencers, plan events, analyze social media and more. We are looking for a positive, energetic professional who is a strong writer and proofreader, problem-solver and idea-generator.

The PR Account Executive will be a key player on major accounts by providing exceptional day-to-day tactical execution. This will include client counsel, tracking media and results, writing compelling media materials and engaging with journalists and producers to tell great stories.

Tasks will also include:

• Pitching, reporting and networking with reporters, editors, creators and inflluencers 
• PR and social media account execution 
• Management of editorial and event calendars

• You must be intellectually curious while always maintaining a desire to tell the next great story for your client 
• You must have an action-oriented default setting 
• You must be able to write for news media 
• You should be comfortable with a fluid, autonomous and professional environment
