Designs graphic materials and presentations, utilizing graphics software as appropriate, for internal and external distribution. Advises partners on the most effective use of graphic communications. Produces various segments of a multi-media presentation. Assists in maintaining graphics equipment and computer software. Strong understanding of design and typography, as well as illustrative/conceptual ability to assess content for creation of info graphics, charts, etc.

  1. Designs and produces graphic materials, such as signs, charts, illustrations, brochures, ads, cartoons, etc. utilizing computer graphics software or traditional production and design methods as appropriate.
  2. Advises partners on the most effective use of graphic communications.
  3. Reviews work requests received and advises if work should be done in-house or by external vendor.
  4. Sets and meets due dates for project completion working with requester of materials and within budget constraints.
  5. Produces various segments of a multi-media presentation.
  6. Maintains detailed record of hours spent on projects for chargeback purposes.
  7. Assists in maintaining graphics equipment and updating computer software.
  8. Interacts with all levels throughout the organization and outside vendors to produce requested materials using most cost effective method.
  9. Knowledge/experience of Adobe Creative Suite is desired.
  10. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with particular proficiency in PowerPoint.
  11. Basic knowledge of HTML as well as designing for digital (interactive, social media, email, etc.) a plus but not required.
  • 3 years design experience in a corporate environment. 
  • Knowledge of graphics design and current design technology usually acquired through 2 years of art/design school with proficiency demonstrated through a portfolio of illustrations, slides, etc. is required to design and produce communication materials. 
  • Creative ability is required to create infographics and presentations.
