MagnetStreet is a diverse ecommerce brand that sells personalized magnets, cards, and stationery to both businesses and consumers. We are seeking a Production Graphic Designer to build out new product designs, update existing products, and maintain our product data base. The perfect candidate is proficient in PC-based InDesign (CS5 preferred), Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as being highly detailed oriented. This position is fast-moving, production-based, and the ideal candidate will be able to meet daily expectations of accuracy and volume. This position is full-time, non-exempt, and located in our Blaine, MN office. Office hours are 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Convert new files received from internal/external product graphic designers into other sizes/shapes/product types to create design-based product lines 
  • Collaborate with team to perform auditing process (tagging, template standards, printer standards, etc.) on products to ensure all internal technical and graphic standards are met 
  • Design new or update existing product templates, as assigned 
  • Maintain product database by entering new product designs and attributes, as well as updating existing product attributes to ensure the best online customer experience 
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Skills needed:

  • Must be proficient and demonstrate expert knowledge in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator (CS5 and Cloud preferred) - PC based 
  • Show the initiative and skillset to quickly learn processes in a hands-on training environment 
  • Adept at multitasking and quick problem solving while turning projects around quickly 
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail 
  • Keen eye for visually-pleasing layout and design 
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively with team in a professional and friendly manner 
  • Proactive self-starter who is resilient to changing processes 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written; speak and write proficiently in English 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphics Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent related field preferred 
  • 1 to 3 years of experience using design programs
