Responsibilities:
Proofreading and Copy Editing (75 percent)
Proofread and mark-up all proofs generated in production via proofreading marks and digital interfaces. This applies to all new work and correction cycles. Work closely with production director, production artists and account service team to apply all edits. Understand departmental workflow and react swiftly to changing priorities. Work to improve proofreading process, communication and common errors within department and agency. Proofread and edit copy and content for print, digital, video, social media, press releases and more. Ensure all content adheres to our client’s voice, brand positioning and style guides. Maintain client manuals with preferred styles, including logo usage, brand names, trademark symbols and other designated language, grammar and punctuation.
Project Coordination (25 percent)
Collaborate with agency teams to coordinate the production and deployment of print and digital content deliverables. Assist with quoting and purchasing stock imagery, stock video, fonts and stock music licensing while maintaining an agency database. Provide additional organizational support to department as needed.
