ProSource Technologies, LLC, a professional consulting firm in Minneapolis has an immediate need for a Proposal Specialist in our Business Development Department. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Proposal Specialist the employee will be responsible for all facets of the Request for Proposals development including review, design, writing, editing, and delivery of each proposal. Specific duties include:

  • Determines proposal and statement of qualifications concepts and clarifying opportunities and needs by studying requests for proposals or SOQs, and attend strategy meetings. 
  • Develops proposal and SOQs by assembling information including project nature, objectives, outcomes and deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance and evaluation; writing, revising, and editing drafts including executive summaries, conclusions and organization credentials. 
  • Prepare presentation results by evaluating text, graphics, binding, coordinating printing and shipping. 
  • Maintain quality results by using templates, following proposal writing standards including readability, consistency, tone, accuracy, grammar, proof reading to ensure documents adhere to appropriate style and format. Prepare flat sheets, brochures, and other marketing related documents through evaluation and revision and design with appropriate text, style, graphics etc. 
  • Using various methods, search out and find RFP’s and forward to Executive Management for review and a decision about submission of RFP.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, graphic design, or related field. Vocational certificate will be accepted in lieu of degree requirements. 
  • Exceptional knowledge of the rules of grammar, syntax, spelling and punctuation. 
  • Three (3) years of previous experience writing, designing, and managing the RFP process 
  • Excellent MS Office 365 and Adobe software programs, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Publisher, Access, In Design, Illustrator, and Photo Shop.

  • Exceptional presentation, layout, design skills. 
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to proof read, edit, and create exceptional documents to promote ProSource services, experience, and reputation as a leader in the Right of Way industry. 
  • Deadline and detail oriented abilities and skills. 
  • Positive can-do attitude and resolution orientation and willingness to engage in a collaborative process. 
  • Flexibility and capability to accommodate business priorities through demonstration of meeting fast pace project deadlines. 
  • Ability to motivate and persuade others. 
  • Professional appearance. 
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time with or without accommodations. 
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds with or without accommodations. 
  • Experience using both a personal computer and a MAC Apple.
