Job Function

The HYBRID role for PR and Partnerships Specialist is a results-orientated and experienced PR professional responsible for all public relations and partnership activities for brands under the Post Consumer Brands portfolio. This individual will partner with PCB’s lead PR agency to facilitate the development and execution of innovative PR and influencer marketing strategies and initiatives. With a PR background, the PR and Partnerships Specialist will be the lead educator on PR initiatives to the broader organization, own all day-to-day agency management and lead the development and execution of all brand partnerships.

Job Activities & Duties:

  • Alongside PR agency, manage the strategy and planning of all PR activities across Post Consumer Brand portfolio 
  • Review and approve all proposed PR and influencer activations while educating the broader organization on PR efforts. This includes press releases, media talking points, influencer social media content and mailers. 
  • Facilitate reporting of PR, influencer and partnership efforts with agency and internal PCB analytics team 
  • Manage PR and partnerships budgets including new vendor and agency set up and invoice tracking 
  • Review incoming partnership requests and facilitate vendor meetings 
  • Manage day-to-day agency communication and program approval process with marketing brand teams, performance marketing, the creative studio and legal
  • 3+ years of public relations experience either for a brand or at an agency 
  • 1+ year of experience with influencer marketing 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Comfortably lead meetings with external partners and PCB leaders 
  • Knowledge of social media content best practices 
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
