The Recruitment Campaign Manager’s key responsibility is to develop outbound student recruiting campaigns and to support the work of the recruitment strategy unit overall.

This position plays a key role within the Recruitment Strategy Team in the Division of Continuing Studies (DCS) Advance Your Career (AYC) and Adult Career and Special Student Services (ACSSS) teams. The team manages the student recruitment strategy and recruitment process from point-ofinquiry through enrollment for the University of Wisconsin-Madison Advance Your Career (AYC) flexible and online professional masters and capstone certificates (https://advanceyourcareer.wisc.edu/). This role demands a high level of collaboration, coordination and organization, effective communication skills particularly with diverse populations, skills in problem solving, and demonstrated ability to succeed in dynamic, fast-paced team environments. The key responsibilities for this role include: developing, implementing, monitoring, and optimizing recruitment campaigns.

Degree and area of specialization:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in digital media, marketing, advertising, communication, graphic design, journalism, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

  • At least five years of professional marketing or recruitment experience with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, drip and nurture email marketing/sales/recruitment campaign development, marketing/sales/recruitment plans, digital tactics, strategy oversight, account management, data analysis, and/or campaign optimization 
  • Experience using data to identify, analyze, and creatively solve marketing and recruitment complexities and meet sales or enrollment goals 
  • Experience working with Marketing Automation tools (preferably Eloqua and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud) Experience working with the following applications and software preferred: Project management software (preferably WorkZone), CRM tools (Salesforce), HTML/CSS, WordPress, Gravity Forms, Microsoft Applications 
  • Experience managing multiple clients with patience, diplomacy, clarity, and relevant recommendations specific to each individual project 
  • Experience prioritizing limited staff and financial resources and managing project deadlines to best meet goals
