Search Marketing Intern
Southeast Wisconsin
Greendale, WI

As Search Marketing Intern, you’ll work in a fast-paced, small agency environment helping a variety of clients grow their businesses via the web.. You’ll gain experience that will directly translate to your first post-college job in digital marketing. This opportunity is for a paid and structured internship (15-20 hours per week). Marketing knowledge attained in school will directly apply to your work carrying out search marketing strategy. We’re looking for an inquisitive, attentive and empathetic individual to help ensure our clients continue getting the care they deserve.


  • Complete keyword and competitive research for a variety of campaigns for both PPC and SEO efforts 
  • Write engaging Ad-Copy for PPC campaigns as well as enticing meta data for SEO efforts. 
  • Monitor traffic trends for key clients using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other third party tools 
  • Research client-related blog topic ideas and develop recommendations for content team to implement 
  • Perform website content updates, including ongoing maintenance, new page development, blog posts, etc. 
  • Review technical notices and issues as well as assist in technical SEO tasks such as redirect mapping 
  • Assist in additional PPC efforts such as account structure, ad placement review, keyword review and more 
  • Assist in additional SEO efforts such as link review, copy creation and more 

Position is based in Greendale, Wisconsin.

  • College/university junior or senior, obtaining BA/BS in marketing, communications or equivalent area of focus 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills 
  • Not afraid of numbers 
  • Self-motivated and effective time/task management skills 
  • Ability to work independently and think critically 
  • Organized and detail-oriented 
  • Experience building and/or managing websites a plus

 This is a paid internship (15-20) hours per week; for the right individual, we may hire as a regular employee at the conclusion of the internship period.
