What we're looking for:

We are seeking an experienced Marketing professional to lead our Content Team. This position will utilize available insights and data to understand RSNA's business goals and user needs, and create strategies to meet goals through the creation and delivery of content across print and digital platforms. The position will manage content marketing operations, including email and social media marketing, and ensures all content adheres to RSNA brand voice, tone and style.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate to develop strategies and goals for RSNA content. Identify success factors and ways to measure content performance. Make recommendations to improve quality and delivery of RSNA content across all channels. 
  • Develop and maintain a documented content marketing strategy. 
  • Responsible for content strategy deliverables, including content inventory, content models, gap analysis, organizational style guide and editorial calendar. 
  • Oversee voice, style and brand standards in marketing and communications. 
  • Analyze customer feedback in order to improve content strategy. 
  • Evaluate performance of content marketing initiatives and provides strategic recommendations for new and existing initiatives. Help develop strategy and foundation for an RSNA blog. 
  • Supervise employees and oversee workflow of marketing copy projects from ideation to distribution. May supervise freelance writers and content creators as needed. 
  • Ensure all content created within the Marketing Department supports user engagement goals. 
  • Edit content for grammar, clarity and adherence to RSNA voice, tone and style guide.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, journalism, English, PR or related field 
  • 5-7 years relevant professional experience in marketing, communications or editorial environment 
  • Experience collaborating with UX designers, UI designers and content writers 
  • Excellent judgment and strategic thinking abilities 
  • Experience developing and maintaining a content strategy, and telling compelling brand stories across a variety of platforms 
  • Experience developing content marketing strategies, including blogs, preferred 
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills with acute attention to detail. 
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to assess processes to improve quality 
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and build consensus with staff at all levels 
  • Creativity and resourcefulness 
  • Previous supervisory experience required 
  • Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to organization's mission 
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced, changing environment
