Kane Communications Group is hiring a venturesome Senior Marketing Advisor in Milwaukee, WI who can take the lead on our growing client accounts!

As the Senior Advisor, you’ll manage the client relationship and our team of experts, leading both towards success. Managing budgets, timelines and expectations, you’ll deliver the Kane brand through exceptional client service, strategic planning, and creative execution. Using your previous agency experience and at least two years managing your own client accounts, you’ll tackle the day-to-day work to exceed our client’s expectations.

What you’ll do:
In this role, you will be leading a number of client accounts and projects. As the primary point of contact, you will be responsible for crafting, managing, organizing and executing integrated marketing plans, ensuring internal teams have the input they need to produce high-quality tactics and clients receive exceptional service.

What your day will look like:

  • Act as company liaison between internal team and secured client; establish and maintain client relationships 
  • Manage and track to client’s annual marketing budget 
  • Build, launch, measure and manage marketing plans and projects and manage ongoing client requests 
  • Collaborate with team members including internal PR team and freelance creative team members to support plans or clients 
  • Work cross-functionally with freelance designers, writers and internal PR team 
  • Write creative briefs and work with freelance creative team members Support business development growing client accounts organically

What you must have:

  • At least 6-8 years of relevant experience in marketing, advertising or digital/social media marketing, minimum of two years working in an agency environment managing your own client accounts. 
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrated ability to delegate tactical assignments and accurately judge and edit the work of others with the ability to provide writing samples. 
  • The ability to manage and inspire a team and to make sound judgments on a daily basis, knowing when to seek senior counsel. 

It’s nice if you have:

  • Marketing experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Government, Mental/Behavioral Health, Health & Human Services, Large Nonprofit

What you bring:

  • An understanding of many different roles, tools, and components of strategic marketing.
  • Fondness for structure and process with a motivation to develop them where they might not already exist. 
  • Appreciation of strategic creative work tied to plans and business objectives. 
  • Experience writing a wide variety of marketing materials with a strong knowledge of AP style. 
  • A hunger for information and resourcefulness to find more. 
  • The motivation for your team and a willingness to guide, collaborate and succeed together.
