Position Summary:

The Senior Marketing Manager, Email and Mobile Communications supports the development of complex member-centric, multi-channel marketing and communication strategies through the email and mobile notifications channels, driving improved membership acquisition and engagement.This position is proficient at identifying strategic opportunities, developing & packaging strategies, collaborating with partners to gain alignment, and directing execution through direct reports from launch through measurement.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gathers and leverages consumer or member insights from multiple sources to identify strategic opportunities for the email and mobile channels, with recommendations to optimize strategies across channels. Stays current on channel best practices and provides recommendations to the organization. 
  • Supports/Collaborates on complex multi-channel strategies to drive membership acquisition, retention, or product engagement through the email and mobile notification channels 
  • Collaborates with business and technology partners to align email and mobile notifications marketing strategy with product, pricing and operational strategies 
  • Partners with internal marketing strategists/analysts and technologists (IT) to optimize and execute strategies in context of channel best practices, technology/data needs, and project objectives 
  • Partners with internal creative team, directing marketing asset creation to ensure channel best practices and process from concept through delivery 
  • Develops, executes and reports on testing plans that drive improved performance 
  • Measures channel performance against defined metrics, partnering with internal marketing strategists/analysts and analytics teams 
  • Packages and delivers campaign results to key stakeholders in an effective, timely manner 
  • Manages project, people, vendors and financial allocations to maximize immediate and long-term business results 
  • Hires, manages, coaches and develops direct report(s) & broader team in a caring, effective manner

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, Master's Degree Preferred 
  • 8+ years relevant marketing experience 
  • Proven ability to develop moderately-complex omni-channel strategies 
  • Excellent customer service and project management skills 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel 
  • Knowledge of standard office procedures and computer software 
  • Proficiency in directing work, coaching, and developing team 
  • Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and recommend solutions

  • CRM proficiency
