Senior Marketing Manager
Northern Illinois

The Senior Marketing Manager plans, directs, and implements marketing programs and initiatives that support the growth of the business. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a start-up-like environment, leveraging decision-making authority to direct the day-to-day operation of the marketing, advertising, public relations, and online media functions by performing the following duties personally, and in collaboration with in-house and outside agency teams.


  • Develops and executes annual integrated marketing plans and programs with clear goals and timelines and executes on plan 
  • Integrates efforts with sales and operations to ensure a seamless client experience and maximize growth opportunities, and that brand image and message is consistent across the business. 
  • Identifies opportunities and finds creative ways to drive awareness, and retention at key touch points within the client acquisition, sales and service process to create moments of delight 
  • Promotes company brand through collateral, advertising, online/social media and public relations, and possesses the ability to write supporting compelling messages across audiences. 
  • Plans and coordinates events, and manages outside agencies on projects and campaigns. 
  • Engages directly with clients to add value. 
  • Has the ability and is experienced in operating in a multi-brand environment and differentiating the value proposition for each. 
  • Manages contracts and budgets for programs and evaluates their effectiveness. 
  • Able to work with a shared marketing service environment for additional support. 
  • Understands multiple marketing perspectives: B2B, B2C and B2E (employees).

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and a minimum of seven years of proven marketing experience are required. 
  • Proven experience with online and social media marketing, and proficiency in Adobe, Constant Contact. Creative Suite software knowledge a plus.
