Our team continues to grow and we are hiring for a Change Communications Specialist who will work alongside our current marketing team members and others in our newly developed Change Management Office.

This role is responsible for developing, staging, and pacing communications aligned with organizational changes to support living out our change vision, improve organizational performance, strengthen engagement, and increase productivity. This position willbring change communication expertise and support to project leads/project teams as they develop and execute on the change plans included as part of the overall implementation of internal projects.

The Change Communications Specialist will:

  • Provide consultation to the organization on change management including the development of change management communication and development and maintenance of change management toolkit. 
  • Collaborate on change communications in partnership with the project lead or other member(s) of the project team. 
  • Work collaboratively with the Manager, Change Management, project leads, and others throughout the organization to develop and implement communication strategies supporting project/initiative change plans and/or change initiatives to improve organizational performance. 
  • Develop communications that tells the project’s story to aid in the delivery and acceptance of the change message. 
  • Use divergent and convergent methods to align change communications related to a specific change around an identifiable visual theme. 
  • Integrate visual consistency across all mediums used to communicate about a specific change to establish credibility and connection to the change. 
  • Manage the creative development of internal change communication materials through participation in project-planning meetings to provide creative solutions that meet the goals and objectives of the change plan. 
  • Using tools such as Canva or working with in-house design, create visual messaging for change communications.
  •  Provide strategic and collaborative thinking to drive projects and initiatives. 
  • Deliver communication materials to stakeholders and ensure successful communication of changes. 
  • Work with project leads to promote employee engagement and increase productivity. 
  • Utilize excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 
  • Demonstrate strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, review and create compelling messages, and manage multiple projects. 
  • Work with the project team to brainstorm, develop, and execute communication strategies and tactics. 
  • Develop and maintain content related to the organization’s business objectives and performance and key strategic initiatives. 
  • Write and edit content that puts people first and conveys empathy while informing and engaging the intended audience; ensuring audience needs and feedback are incorporated to improve deliverables. 
  • Support the work of the Change Management Office (CMO) and collaborate with the other members of the CMO to ensure we are living out our change vision. 
  • Problem-solve and facilitate process improvement for issues that impact work.

Education Required:

  • Bachelors or better in Marketing or related field.

Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years: Experience in change management or leading communications during/through major organizational change
