The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for contributing to and assisting in the development, implementation, and execution of the Social Current’s strategic marketing plan so that the organization can achieve its business goals. This role designs and implements the organization’s social media strategy, including creating original text and multimedia content, managing posts, and responding to followers.

In addition, the Digital Marketing Manager consults with internal teams around their goals and marketing objectives to guide the development and execution of marketing and communication plans that include digital and social media, email and content marketing, and graphic design. In collaboration with the marketing and communications specialist, the Digital Media and Brand Manager creates images, one-pagers, and other items using graphic design software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist in developing and executing creative, innovative, and varied marketing campaigns using organic and paid social media, email communications, website, SEO, SEM etc.
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Develop and manage budgets for related marketing and digital media initiatives.
  • Implement and review campaign tracking parameters and reporting metrics to support continuous improvement.
  • Write and edit marketing materials (blog posts and articles, promotional emails, product and service brochures, PowerPoint presentations, etc.) for use in integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Create images, one-pagers, and other items using graphic design software.
  • Support the implementation of the organization’s brand identity and ensure brand consistency throughout the organization by providing templates, guides, and instruction to staff.
  • Consult on communication efforts with key Social Current executives.
  • Participate in organization’s thought leadership strategy by authoring articles, presenting webinars or workshops, or facilitating conversations among the organization’s stakeholders.

  • Proven work experience as a social media manager. 
  • Advanced knowledge of social media analytics and reporting as well as major content management system software.
  • Skills and experience in writing and editing for diverse audiences and communications channels.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, and GA4.
  • NetBase/Quid experience a significant plus.
  • Strong experience with WordPress website management and email marketing software.
  • Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.
  • Project management skills and the ability to execute complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with vendors, including printers and suppliers.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook).
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management software, Salesforce a plus, as well as SharePoint, and project management software.

This exempt position will offer an annual salary based upon standard work hours of 35 hours per week. This position will pay an annual salary commensurate to the market, salary range will be $52,000 to $63,700. In addition, Social Current offers a generous paid time off plan (PTO), medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits to include a 401k retirement plan.

Travel is expected; approximately 7 days per year to support in-person events and attend staff meetings.
