As a SC Johnson Public Affairs Intern, you will support corporate initiatives and help drive and execute programs to enhance the company’s external corporate reputation to key stakeholders including media, NGOs, government and key partners. Our internship program prepares BBA’s for responsibilities in Public Affairs and a general career in Communications, reflecting the fulltime experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create corporate communication tools including: press releases, statements, corporate presentations, company backgrounders, etc. 
  • Research and create media lists through Cision. 
  • Assist with media requests related to Public Affairs Issues/Reputational Issues. 
  • Perform other responsibilities and assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in business, public relations, communications, government affairs or related field, with a graduation date of 2021 
  • A LAGRANT Foundation candidate
