3D Product Artist

Position Overview:

Under the direction of the 3D Production Manager, the 3D Production Specialist II is someone who in addition to inheriting all responsibilities of the 3D Production Specialist, acts as a group leader to help organize and facilitate overall group success as well as provide guidance and structure to those around him or her in accordance with company policies and procedures.

The 3D Production Specialist II is tasked with delivering high quality, 3D rendering deliverables in a timely fashion, keeping current with 3D industry tools and techniques, flexible in working with elements of 2D Design; compositing; motion capture; game engine development; motion design.

Responsibilities:

• Produce 3D images and animation for small and medium sized projects from start to finish. 
• Assist in production of 3D special effects such as fluid and particle simulations. 
• Ensure accurate reproduction of CAD with specified Color, Texture, and Graphics. 
• Update previously completed projects to current standards and product change orders. 
• Utilize advanced 3D rendering in production of photorealistic images and animations. 
• Provide creative input to Marketing and Sales teams. 
• Work with 3D CAD databases provided by Industrial Designers and Engineers. 
• Oversee approval process for requested images. 
• Ensure image accuracy and quality. 
• Support team members on large requests. 
• Participate in planning and scheduling of work requests

Education:

• BS/BA in Art, Design, or related field.

Experience:

• 3+ years of 3D production/design experience. 
• Proficient in a major 3D application with skills including photo-realistic still rendering, animation, and special effects. 
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
