Little is adding an Account Director to our team!

We’re looking for a go-getter to lead account efforts. This account director manages and anticipates client needs while cultivating client relationships. The ideal candidate will serve as an advocate for our clients by understanding, communicating and scoping projects that exceed their expectations.

The Little account director is a recognized leader and steward of great design, both among co-workers and clients. With a proactive and collaborative mindset, you lead through idea generation and problem solving. You dig in to uncover what is unique and differentiating about a brand. Your senior account, strategy and communications skills, your business and marketing acumen, and your ability to build trust with clients and coworkers are key ingredients to your work.

Partnering with your creative director and project director, the account director is responsible for developing the approach, scopes of work, and helping to develop exceptional and effective design solutions for our clients. The account director is entrepreneurial, thrives on rolling-up-your-sleeves, getting to the heart of opportunities, and taking on challenges in an ever-changing marketing, communications and design environment.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • 8+ years of experience in a strategy or account services role at a design firm or marketing communications agency 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field 
  • Demonstrated skills in building and retaining client relationships, managing expectations and delivering strategic and creative work 
  • A great listener with strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Hungry to deepen your knowledge about our clients’ businesses and actively seeks new opportunities for our agency and our clients 
  • Has a keen intuition of when to lead, collaborate and delegate 
  • Solid business/marketing acumen and ability to learn a new clients/industries quickly 
  • Confident in decision making and problem solving 
  • Knows how to celebrate wins and work through conflict 
  • Comfortable with handling sensitive discussions and financial management/stewardship 
  • Able to balance the needs of the internal team and client teams
