As a key member of TSMGI’s Sports & Event Marketing division, the Account Coordinator – Ticket Management, Hospitality & Meeting Planning is responsible for managing all aspects of clients’ tickets and hospitality assets across a broad portfolio of sports and entertainment properties.

This position requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail and excellent communication. Primary responsibilities include inventory management and distribution of ticket assets typically through ticket management software and team / venue Apps. Additional responsibilities will be to support TSMGI’s Meeting Planning function across a variety of clients. This position can be located in either of TSMGI’s offices in Deerfield, IL (northern suburb of Chicago) or Milwaukee, WI.

Ticket Management

Operation of 3rd party ticket management software (Ticket Manager™) which includes:

  • Creating team / event profiles, descriptions and assets within the system
  • Uploading ticket assets into the system Oversee the client’s internal review and approval process within the system Distribute requested and approved tickets
  • Generate reports as requested 
  • Liaise with sponsored teams and venues to ensure receipt of tickets, parking passes, hospitality assets, etc.

Hospitality

  • Coordinate hospitality suite food & beverage packages on behalf of client event hosts
  • Coordinate branded merchandise for client events

Event Planning

  • Coordination of meeting planning and event management operations Typical events incudes: Corporate hospitality at sports events, business meetings, incentive programs, conferences, etc.
  • Support venue evaluation and selection, food and beverage, basic audio / visual needs, and branding / decor design and production. 
  • Travels periodically to event locations
  • Experience with ticket management software and / or team / venue Apps
  • Attention to detail
  • Resourceful problem solver
  • Excellent communication skills – oral, written Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently
  • 2+ years experience in tickets management, hospitality and / or meeting planning Previous agency experience is highly valued
  • Bachelors degree in relevant disciplines is valued
  • Strong computer software skills (Mac OS & Microsoft Office suite, etc.), and hardware familiarity (Mac, PC, tablet, mobile devices, kiosks, etc.)
