Bully Pulpit Interactive is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing team in Chicago, IL. We're looking for someone who is intellectually curious and flourishes with figuring out how things work. You pay attention to detail and thrive on numbers and analysis. You have a passion for all things digital and love working without constraints. You are always up to date on the latest trends; you’re the kind of person who subscribes to email lists for fun. You’re driven to understand the big picture but want to get your hands dirty by helping to develop, craft and launch advertising campaigns alongside a team of brilliant digital marketers.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of the digital and communications strategies for content across our non-profit, political and corporate clients. 
  • Draft blogs, op-eds, and press releases as well as content for ads, infographics, and website and social copy for clients. 
  • Deliver research on key client-related issues as needed. 
  • Work closely with design and video teams to bring visual and written communications to life. 
  • Collect and curate press clips and monitor media for the BPI team and clients. 
  • Compile client-specific press lists of national, regional, and local reporters. 
  • Research media markets and target reporters through earned media outreach. 
  • Create client-ready reports, presentations and memos.

Required Skills:

  • Extremely strong writing capabilities with experience managing social media campaigns. 
  • Knowledge of social media marketing on platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat. 
  • Ability to work well with all levels of clients and team members. 
  • Strong analytical abilities.

Experience Level:

This is an entry level position working in our Client Services department. Qualified candidates for this position have gained experience through Fellowship, Internship, classroom, volunteer or other equivalent work opportunities.

Salary:

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
