Account Executive

Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of marketing or public relations experience, strong writing, organizational and interpersonal skills and a positive and teamwork-oriented personality. The ability to learn quickly and multitask in a fast-paced environment is also required.

• Perform research and market analysis activities on a variety of tasks and topics, summarizes key findings to agency leaders and clients. 
• Uses industry tools and resources to build and update media lists, databases, reports and other deliverables.
• Assist in the development of content including press releases, pitches, articles, media alerts and other press materials. 
• Effectively utilize social media to identify market trends.
• Develop and write social media content. 
• Assist in distributing information to local, regional and national media.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
• Secure news coverage on behalf of clients. 
• Support the agency team and contribute to a positive, productive work environment. 
• Perform other duties in support of team and agency activities.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
• Strong problem solving and presentation skills 
• Passion and understanding of marketing, public relations, social media 
• Degree in marketing communications or journalism 
• 3-5 years of previous related work experience; agency background strongly preferred
