Account Executive

Do you like making connections, working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment? MKE Lifestyle is seeking a brand ambassador to join our core team. This is a great opportunity to support a cross-section of lifestyle clients. The team is collaborative, energetic, and passionate about all things Milwaukee! We are seeking a perfect complement to that dynamic team.

Ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of sales experience, love media planning, creating awesome campaigns, and working cross-departmentally to deliver results! MKE Lifestyle defines why we love where we live. Our mission in thirty years of publication is to celebrate the people, cultural and nonprofit organizations, events, homes, gardens, landscapes, activities, food, and businesses that make living in Milwaukee unique and fulfilling. With lush photography, compelling stories, informative listings and departments, plus targeted special-interest sections, we present a monthly dive into all things great about living in Milwaukee. 


  • Acquire, retain and grow book of business through prospecting, exceptional customer service and ongoing account management
  • Educate and effectively communicate the value proposition of MKE Lifestyle and best practices to craft thoughtful and creative media plans
  • Generate advertising revenue by consistently meeting monthly sales goals
  • Maintain an active schedule of virtual or face-to-face strategic meetings and prospecting calls
  • Execute and communicate weekly sales recaps to management
  • Attend networking, community, and client events providing a strong representation of the MKE Lifestyle brand 
  • College degree in marketing or related field a plus
  • 1-3 years sales experience
  • Experience in digital sales is a plus
  • Proven track record in developing new business, achieving sales goals, and account management
  • Tenacious and entrepreneurial approach to working through product, process, and client challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships Exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment Comfortable presenting proposals and negotiating contracts High attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Google suite Experience using CRM systems helpful

This can be a hybrid position offering the opportunity to work in the office and from home.
