Summary:

Acts as a vital contributor to the management of client programs, providing day-to-day support to both client and internal teams. Anticipates obstacles and analyzes reporting with intent to improve results. Ensures agency success by keeping the internal account team informed of project status and utilizing day-to-day knowledge to inform program activity.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead implementation of experiential/sampling program(s) for top spirits brand 
  • Manage day-to-day communication with mid-level clients, building relationships to drive business security and success 
  • Collaborate with creative, project management, production and field teams to develop programs and solutions for client 
  • Source and manage multiple vendor/supplier relationships required for programming 
  • Assist in strategy, planning, coordination and execution of national brand programming 
  • Create and update both client and project documents including: creative briefs, estimates, project timelines, status reports, conference reports, and other supporting materials 
  • Own reporting process and documentation by capturing and interpreting program results, summarize findings, and work with senior team members to recommend program enhancements and/or changes to improve going forward 
  • Organize client presentations, meetings, and conference calls, and prepare relevant documents, including agendas, meeting materials and conference reports 
  • Track budgets; notify manager of client requests that fall outside of scope; revise budgets as needed; alert client of financial implications and secure approval to proceed 
  • Support Account Supervisor in annual development and serve as the day to day executional lead for national programming 
  • Actively engage in the on-site event execution when applicable – includes event setup & tear down 
  • Keep agency teams informed of client requests and changes; anticipate potential problems; proactively develop solutions 
  • Adhere to agency process and financial policies; enter time reports and submit paid expenses within require timeframe

Our Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing or the equivalent combination of education and experience

2-3 yrs. of experiential agency experience

Ability to travel, and sometimes work weekends, as event schedules are secured

Capability to work in a fast-paced environment where everything isn’t always black & white – comfort finding solutions in the gray space between

Comprehensive knowledge of client category and business objectives, and a clear understanding of the key strategic issues that impact the client’s business

Ability to communicate clearly, thoroughly, and succinctly both verbally and in written form

Strong attention to detail and organization, demonstrated through actions such as:

  • Effectively proofing own and others work to ensure accuracy
  • Actively and effectively managing timelines, budgets and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Developing and archiving all key project documents in an easy to identify format for historical reference

Experience handling numerous lines of communication between vendors, venues, clients, and internal teams

Basic understanding of Excel functionality, leading to the ability to analyze results, interpret data, draw sound conclusions, and develop insightful and actionable recommendations

Proactive approach, demonstrated through actions such as:

  • Providing regular and thorough project updates to manager and team
  • Anticipating potential problems and obstacles to project success, communicating concerns and developing solutions
  • Keeping abreast of category trends and sharing information/learnings with team members

Ability to manage overlapping deliverables with short turnaround times
