Minneapolis-based Maccabee Public Relations — a five-time winner of Minnesota Business magazine’s “100 Best Places To Work” – has an immediate opening for a Media Relations and Content Marketing Account Executive with extraordinary media relations, social media and content creation skills.

Your responsibilities at Maccabee would include creating compelling media pitches and strategies, serving as a client contact and trusted advisor on campaigns, bringing our clients’ brands to life with creative storytelling, and developing engaging content. Past agency experience in food, B2B technology and healthcare/wellness a plus.

YOU are a Media Relations Maven, with 2-5 years of experience working with journalists (TV and radio producers, newspaper editors, magazine columnists, bloggers, podcasters and influencers) and creating integrated communications campaigns with compelling content (e-books, infographics and more). You’re known for being collaborative with co-workers and clients, having strong decision-making and project management skills, and staying up-to-speed on the latest social platforms and trends. You embrace a can-do positive attitude that welcomes that first “no” from CNN-TV and abide by AP style and love storytelling (in any form, but writing skills are critical). You are a relentless consumer of all media – from Refinery 29, Bustle and Mashable to the New York Times, NPR and USA Today.
