We’re looking to hire a motivated and ambitious Account Executive with exceptional communication, analytical and strategic skills to join our Chicago Sales Team.

The Account Executive will manage existing accounts in the Greater Chicago area, Omaha, and Indianapolis as well as grow your own book of business. You’ll work with an open market that are both agencies and brands-direct such as Havas, In Touch Solutions, RedStone, Bailey Lauerman, Miller Brooks to name a few.

What You Do:

  • Continually build a deep understanding of video advertising and the Tremor Video demand-side platform. Learn our unique & exclusive data offerings, and market-leading creative offerings. Establish ability to strategically position products externally to help drive revenue 
  • Help drive both managed & self-service revenue in the greater Chicago area as well as Omaha and Indianapolis 
  • Strong knowledge of Chicago based brands and agencies 
  • Own and lead the sales process to enhance existing partnerships (through up selling of product and services and sales optimization). 
  • Provide regular forecast of your business Meet and exceed revenue goals defined by your manager 
  • Showcase ability to get client-direct meetings to push forward partnership conversations 
  • Prepare proposals and respond timely to online RFP's with a high degree of professionalism and quality
  • Work with Account Manager to ensure seamless post sales process 
  • Prospect new business opportunities based on assigned territory and provide updates and reports to management 
  • Work with cross-functional teams internally to ensure campaign success and growth of partnerships 
  • Have the ability to look at suite of video solutions (Managed vs. Self, Exclusive data, Custom creative) to determine which solution works best for your client 
  • Travel is required for client meetings (a minimum of 1 visit per territory each month; mostly day trips)

How You Do It:

  • 2-4 years of digital advertising experience in Chicago region. 
  • Client based relationships are a plus 
  • Existing agency experience is a plus 
  • Strong understanding of agency-based relationship navigation 
  • Experience uncovering new business opportunities through diligent prospecting 
  • You are experienced with building relationships with both internal and external business partners 
  • You are highly organized and focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail 
  • You are able to creatively and strategically sell, with strong analytical and project management skills 
  • You have excellent client service and presentation skills
