Responsibilities:

Client Relationships

  • Build and maintain client partnerships. Build client confidence in the agency, manage client expectations, advocate for the client’s needs and work to ensure client’s satisfaction with the agency’s strategic and creative work. 
  • Develop clear, measurable goals and objectives for client programs and projects, and keep client apprised of status, measurables and results. 
  • Be the Brandpoint expert on the client’s business, needs, goals and journey. 
  • Develop and write account and project briefs, marketing communications objectives and other strategic planning documents as necessary and appropriate to each client. 
  • Review all client work to ensure it aligns with client’s brand and strategy and drives toward achievement of goals. 
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from onboarding to delivery and reporting. Function as key point of contact with client for day-to-day communication, asset delivery, contract scope, client satisfaction, additional opportunities, and ideas 
  • Stay current with trends and news in the digital marketing space, always thinking of how to integrate emerging trends into client work.

Responsibilities (continued):

Account Growth

  • Grow agency business within assigned accounts by continually seeking opportunity to create value for our clients and sharing fresh ideas to drive clients’ business forward with Brandpoint services. 
  • Work collaboratively with strategy team to scope and prepare proposals for additional opportunities, present to client. 
  • Set and define objectives for client portfolio over a 12‐month horizon and manage accounts to help achieve those objectives. Assist in development and presentation of client multi-channel strategic recommendations and tactical plans. 
  • Lead and/or assist in the preparation and presentation of new business “pitches” as requested by manager.

Account Management

  • Manage large accounts – overseeing client work is being executed to plan and kept on pace. 
  • Ensure all account team members receive written and verbal information and direction as needed to meet or exceed client’s quality, budget, and delivery expectations, with minimal rework. 
  • Maintain documentation of all client communications, directions, recommendations, meetings, etc., which result in client decisions or approvals, including authorizations to proceed with chargeable services. 
  • Keep all account team members informed of client feedback, approvals, or revisions to agency’s work. 
  • Inform supervisor about any issues that may affect the client-agency relationship or ability to meet or exceed revenue forecasts.

Financial/Administrative

  • Oversee client revenue and profitability. Achieve planned profit margins and top‐quality output for all client accounts. 
  • Keep forecast data up to date and accurate through effective communication on changes to project scope and expected net revenue. 
  • Take all appropriate actions to meet or exceed agreed-upon revenue goals. 
  • Help train in new account managers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field 
  • 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing/advertising in agency or client organization (agency preferred), business development experience a plus 
  • Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, and consensus-building skills 
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, creative environment. 
  • Ability to offer proactive solutions and ensure successful progression with minimal guidance 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with clients, vendors, and staff members 
  • Experience with web analytics (Google Analytics, etc.) preferred
