Account Manager
Southeast Wisconsin

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day relationship with CMR’s clients, as well as managing internal agency departments to make sure we stay on track, on time and on budget. This role will involve working with a larger account services team to develop and manage national integrated communications campaigns. The Account Manager position will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the company by driving profitable sales growth for assigned client accounts. Unlike other local agencies, we don't assign you to one account, but rather allow you to learn and work across multiple client engagements.

To succeed in the position, the ideal candidate should have a highly responsive service orientation; strong verbal, writing and editing skills; knowledge of and ability to work with multicultural audiences; and the ability to work well in a team setting.

  • Work with Account team to manage the day-to-day implementation of projects – identify, organize, delegate and execute project deadlines, tasks, and requirements 
  • Manage and coordinate team members across agency function areas to ensure client and project needs are met 
  • Review all creative concepts to confirm whether they meet strategic creative guidelines before they are delivered to the client for approval 
  • Develop and edit strategic plans, creative briefs, client presentations, and other crucial written communication materials 
  • Manage and maintain client budgets 
  • Provide strategic insights and critical thinking to ensure CMR provides integrated communication campaigns that exceed client expectations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications or related field and two years relevant experience, OR, 
  • High School Diploma and minimum of four years of advertising agency or other related experience 
  • Project management experience 
  • Willingness to work with diverse audiences in a fast-paced, growing organization 
  • Strong writing capabilities 
  • High detail orientation 
  • Spanish-language fluency is a plus
