Who We Are

Our principals and founders are two “OGs” in Milwaukee:

  • Mark Sabljak led the Milwaukee Business Journal as President & Publisher for 22 years—bringing the paper into the digital age and transforming the brand into an events powerhouse.
  • Marybeth Budisch led the Greater Milwaukee Foundation’s private funds—advising individuals on how to maximize their investments, impact and engagement.

Position Details

Account Manager
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

Sabljak & Budisch is looking for a detail-obsessed account manager who’s motivated to impact change in our community by working with top leaders on the frontlines.

This person will form the glue between our external clients & partners and our internal team by managing expectations and deadlines and driving projects to successful completion.

As an account manager you are hyper focused on building, executing and delivering exceptional programs and events for clients.

  • You are attentive to client needs by providing honest recommendations, always zoning in on what Sabljak & Budisch can do to deliver meaningful solutions for the client.
  • You are responsible to produce measurable results for our clients and for Sabljak & Budisch by meeting client project and business goals, and delivering on S&B’s financial plans for the future.

Flexible, Friendly, Dedicated and…

  • 2-5 years of experience in account management or related work—ideally working with nonprofits and/or foundations
  • College degree
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven success with client management and program development
  • Adapt quickly to new technologies especially in this pandemic environment
  • Google proficiency including Gmail, Calendar, Docs & Sheets
  • High ability to multitask
