Account Service Intern

The McDonald's intern reports to the McDonald's Intern Supervisor &/or Account Executive and is directed on a daily basis to learn from the Marketing team as they ensure flawless execution of all Co-op business for McDonald's Restaurants in their markets.

Responsibilities:

• Assists Account Team with administering and executing marketing programs
• Assists in development/execution of local store plans as needed
• Supports Account Service Team on special projects including market tours and store shops
• Participates in Account Service and Client meetings
• Collects and maintains competitive information for all assigned markets
• Assist in the distribution of Monthly Crew Member Newsletter (McSource)
• Assists with preparing all Co-op and other meeting materials/presentations
• Distributes all inner-office correspondence/mail and faxes
• Answers phones and monitors office appearance

Requirements:

• Strong written communication and proofreading skills
• Strong research instincts and abilities
• Strong verbal (phone) skills; must be articulate with clients/vendors/media partners
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Able to solve problems creatively
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet Explorer
• Willingness to help in all tasks
