We are looking to add a bright, creative writer that knows all the ins and outs of social media to join our team! The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and is able to communicate positively with other team members and clients.

As an account coordinator, you will handle a variety of tasks, with a focus on writing and social media management. You will be expected to approach projects with a sense of ownership, diligence, and enthusiasm. You will work with multiple staff members to support a variety of clients.

Social Media:

  • Setting up business accounts on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Houzz, and more.
  • Managing regular research, planning, posting, and interactions.
  • Setting up, writing, and managing advertising on social media platforms as well as search engines. Live posting on-site at client events.

Account Coordination/Writing:

  • Brainstorming new ways to promote our clients.
  • Press releases will include interviewing clients, research, journalistic writing, and distribution to and follow up with media.
  • Websites and blog posts will include interviewing clients, research, promotional writing, and SEO descriptions and keywords.
  • Promotional writing for ads, brochures, and other marketing materials.
  • Various research, office, and online tasks as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, writing, journalism, marketing, public relations, advertising, or business communications.
  • 1-3 years of professional marketing experience through internship(s) or entry level position(s).
  • Familiarity with online best practices, including SEO.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, specifically business accounts, and a real interest in managing accounts.
  • Proofreading perfectionism and a love of grammar and word choice.
  • An understanding of different writing styles (journalistic, promotional, social).
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple on-going projects. 
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to edit photos and graphics in Photoshop (for online use) recommended, not required.

Full-time, in office, paid position/38-hour work week. Salary based on experience and qualifications. Salary range $32,500 to $35,000, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include insurance, vacation, and more.
