Our Acount Specialist will work on existing accounts and have the opportunity to pitch new business. Work includes – PR and promotion of events, media relations, social media and content development. We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, creativity, attention to detail and is comfortable working on tight deadlines.

  • New business development – prospect to find new client opportunities and work on creative advertising pitches to present to potential clients 
  • Consult with existing clients to develop creative solutions while incorporating marketing campaigns that fit within a client’s budget 
  • Project manage all aspects of a client’s marketing campaign: working with internal staff on tasks needed with deadlines organizing and conducting internal and client meetings as needed presenting developed materials developing realistic deadlines and budgets billing finished projects in a timely manor
  • Develop content for newsletters; websites and social media 
  • Gather project research and information via interviews and articles
  • Conduct media research on reporters, topics and trends; Write press releases, pitches and talking points
  • Identify story angles and create interview prep materials
  • Prepare and submit media reports
  • Create or update databases and media lists
  • Assist with planning and implementation of events
  • Public relations, Marketing and/or Communications experience preferred. 
  • Applicants should be proficient in MS Office programs, and be familiar with common Social Media platforms. 
  • Applicants must have strong written and verbal communication skills along with demonstrated organization skills. 
  • Event coordination and agency experience would be a plus.
  • Employment Status: Full-time (40 Hours / week)
