Account Supervisor - Content Marketing

Are you at the top of your game and looking to surround yourself with “A-players”? As an account supervisor at The Mx Group/Imagination, you’ll be working alongside some of the sharpest and most creative minds around, pushing the boundaries of B2B marketing with programs that include content marketing, digital marketing, and video production, technology enabled communications, custom software development, demand and more - all to build brand awareness and drive demand. You’ll be supported by our internal team of creatives and technologists, who consistently produce high-quality deliverables you’ll be proud to present to your clients. Strong emphasis on content marketing expertise, digital marketing solutions and deep knowledge of multi-channel business strategy, platforms and tools is required. As an account supervisor, you'll provide key strategic leadership to your clients and lead a team to develop content programs that achieve the client’s business objectives and grow agency revenues.


  • Focus Areas: Client Intake, Discovery/Strategy/Planning, Program Execution, Client Relations, Program Administration, Nurturing Organic Growth in your accounts 
  • Know the clients inside and out - have a clear understanding and be able to articulate what a client’s business and marketing objectives are and how content and other marketing programs achieve those objectives 
  • Apply industry and organization knowledge, deep understanding of marketing strategy and brand positioning, and comprehensive content marketing expertise to translate creative vision and client needs into compelling, executable content programs 
  • Demonstrates a deep knowledge of core agency service offerings/capabilities 
  • Develops program/campaign/project proposals and present the approach to clients, working with other departmental heads 
  • Ensure content programs are closely aligned and integrated with clients’ marketing strategies and brand positioning 
  • Collaborate with internal team members to build and present strategic decks focused on holistic content marketing programs that cover content strategy, audience insights, creative execution and measurement planning 
  • Provides ongoing brand stewardship overseeing the development of differentiating strategy and creative 
  • Ensure client satisfaction, retention and growth through formal and informal planning meetings
  • Analyzes monthly/quarterly program/campaign reporting and makes recommendations, using metrics and analytics to prove value and results tied to business objectives


  • 7+ years of marketing agency experience, including developing integrated content marketing strategies for financial services, B2B and association clients with a strong emphasis in creating and managing omni-channel content programs 
  • Development and implementation ofintegrated marketing programs with deep experience in digital marketing strategies and execution 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead internal team 
  • Ability to progress projects independently from project initiation through delivery
  • Track record of client success and satisfaction, successfully creating and presenting strategic recommendation to clients 
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships with clients
