Account Supervisor

We are currently looking for an Account Supervisor for our Chicago office. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong working knowledge in account management with experience in multicultural advertising. You will focus on delivering key client objectives and will work as part of a larger client team. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to navigate an ever-changing climate in advertising.

What you will do

• Build and maintain positive, lasting client relationships based on effectively achieving the client’s marketing objectives in a manner that results in profit to the agency. 
• Gain a thorough understanding of the client’s business and industry. 
• Provide strategic planning and direction on the assigned accounts. 
• Maintain quality standards. 
• Efficiently, cost-effectively manage agency resources and staff, while managing stress. 
• Plan effectively to avoid crisis situations, but if they develop, report and discuss them with the Account Director Immediately. 
• Provide leadership on all account teams to which you are the assigned AS. 
• Maintain a sense of teamwork among agency staff assigned to your accounts. 
• Train and develop personnel as assigned. 
• Positively and professionally represent the agency at all industry and external functions. 
• Take a leadership role within the agency as a member of the middle management staff. 
• Set the standard for other levels of account service personnel.

• BA/BS degree required 
• 5+ years working in an advertising agency environment with a focus on multicultural markets 
• Fosters effective teamwork and strong relationships 
• Highly skilled in presenting to senior-level clients and management 
• Strong time-management, project management, and organizational skills 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
