About the Role:

Build and deliver channel agnostic advertising content for UScellular Master Brand and Lines of Business (Post Paid, Prepaid, Home Internet). This is a broad marketing communications role capable of creating a variety of creative strategies and communications planning for equity and transactional efforts. Collaborate regularly across the organization with including a range of teams: Brand Planning, Legal, Engineering, Revenue/Performance, Device, and all Brand Management teams to ensure strategic alignment to the overarching Brand communications architecture & revenue plan for the year.

Responsibilities:

  • Write Agency Input Briefs & Creative Strategies – translate critical insights and planning inputs into Brand building and/or value driven communications 
  • Participate in planning meetings representing all brand marketing communications teams to deliver status of key go-to-market milestones, positioning & messaging guidance that informs & influences offer development and ensure on-time delivery of promotions across all channels 
  • Serve as integrated marketing communications point on all assigned promotional planning periods, device launches including Apple/Samsung and all other product or accessory launches that require communications 
  • Attend all production shoots/recordings; clearly demonstrating a command of shoot/production protocols, securing the respect of agency partners and holding them accountable to commitments 
  • Manage the creation and production of vehicles (Video, Audio, digital, social assets) ensuring alignment to the creative brief and delivery upon key variables (e.g. core brand equity messages or promotional points) 
  • Serve as main point of contact to agency throughout the development, production and traffic process 
  • Work with Consumer Insights to test advertising creative concepts and apply quantitative and qualitative research insights with the goal of creating advertising content that helps drive Brand Awareness and Consideration. 
  • Analyze advertising performance data and translate learnings into action for creative development 
  • Operate with Continuous Improvement mindset to continually optimizing both communication and processes as business needs evolve.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in a creative/advertising agency, communications company or a corporate marketing communications department 
  • Ability to manage multiple large and complex projects at the same time 
  • Results-oriented 
  • Experience in IMC planning and resulting campaign examples 
  • Strong idea generation, story building and creative evaluation skills 
  • Data review, analysis and interpretation 
  • Ability to communicate influentially, both written and verbal, to influence peers, leaders & agencies 
  • Proven record of translating strategy into tactical execution 
  • Seasoned project management skills with the ability to take charge of significant portions of the communications portfolio and drive forward with minimal oversight 
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment 
  • Ability to travel up to 15% travel

Salary range: $74,800-$112,934
