Advertising Sales Rep
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

Trade Press Media Group is looking to add an ambitious, organized, and articulate self-starter to our Advertising Sales team. We are a forward-thinking publisher of B2B magazines and digital media, who hire great people and provide them with the training and skills necessary for success. As a member of Trade Press Media Group’s Advertising Sales team, you will sell multi-platform B2B media advertising including print, web and email. Focused on phone sales, you will manage, maintain and cultivate a portfolio of clients and agencies to meet and exceed revenue targets. You will workwith clients/agencies to help plan and execute successful advertising campaigns by determining which of our media products to use while getting competitive advertising rates. We will provide the on-going training and support you need to be successful. You must be able to work within tight deadlines, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have experience working with computers.

  • You have the ability to perform the sales process from prospecting to closing - all while providing excellent customer service
  • You are able to work within tight deadlines
  • Your are computer savvy with a working knowlede of MS office, Google prouct suite, and email (experience with contact management database is a plus)
  • You are able to make powerful and persuasive presentations (both verbally and in writing)
  • You have a general understanding of print and digital advertising methods and practices
  • You are able to sell multi-platform advertising media including web, print and email
  • You are driven to achieve and exceed budget targets on a per issue, month and quarterly basis
  • You are an ambitious, organized and articulate self-starter
  • Have 3 years previous sales experience (particularly in a phone sales environment) or collection agency experience
  • Experience manageing a pipeline and tools for providing projections.
