Position Details

Advertising Specialist
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

An Advertising Specialist will design and produce high quality print and digital advertising collateral for the company, our rep groups and dealers within a specified timeline. The position will also be responsible for developing, executing, and reporting on Hatco’s social media strategy with input from the Advertising and Marketing Departments.

  • Measure and monitor social channels, including posting, commenting, responding to customers; and reporting regularly on social media effectiveness using analytic tools. Develop, implement, and manage social media campaigns to build engagement and expand reach (50%)
  • Design and produce print and digital advertising collateral from start to finish that adheres to marketing strategies and business goals including, but not limited to, price lists, brochures, spec sheets, flyers, online banners, social post material, etc. (Graphic Design 10%, Production 50%)
  • Meet assigned deadlines and work closely with team members, and other customers, adhering to strict standards.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering and other departments to translate business and technical requirements into campaigns that are visually enticing and drive results.
  • A team player who is self-motivated, creative, accurate and organized with good interpersonal skills that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive experience working in the Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat with strong content design layout skills.
  • Strong experience with business use and implementation of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube, as well as analytics/reporting tools.
  • Experience and understanding of HTML production, web graphic formats and Adobe Dreamweaver software is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of digital photography, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
  • Experience with Social Media platform such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn


  • Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or relevant field.
