Primary Responsibilities:
Accountable for helping to drive the strategy and creative development of communication and events including programming/flow, messaging objectives, audience targeting and event program design, event communications and invitation plan, management of resources, and program benchmarking with each respective project lead
Copy-edits all created and submitted content for grammar, punctuation, style, tone and overall content ensuring editorial alignment with university guidelines and a quality user experience
Oversees, schedules, coordinates, provides and edits content for multiple channels with consistent messaging and branding, including segmented messaging to engage alumnae and friends of the University, including:
- Website pages specific to the alumnae and donor audience
- Alumnae and Starving Artists' Show social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Monthly electronic newsletter for alumnae audience
- Submit relevant materials for the biannual Mount Mary magazine
- Promotions for upcoming programs and events including online registration and donation pages
- Email communications and campaigns for engagement and advancement work
- Internal channels including the digital monitor outside of the Alumnae Office, Campus Announcements, etc.
- Monthly birthday campaign
Manage assessment process, tracking and reporting of engagement to measure participation and effectiveness; resulting in the development of content and strategies in partnership with the university’s social media plan to increase online interactions
Assists with planning of events associated with alumnae and donor audiences including the Starving Artists' Show, Alumnae Awards Celebration, Alumnae Reunion Weekend, Commencement Activities, Lunch & Learns, Giving Day and other special events
Serves as the primary liaison for general alumnae inquiries whether in-person, by telephone or digital communications including general alumnae email providing the highest level of customer service
Coordinates all aspects of the online Blue Angels Business Directory and the Alumnae Awards process from promotion to updates
Supports the mission, goals and objectives of the Alumnae and Donor Relations team

Skills and Experience:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Writing for Search Engine Optimization and web editing tools is a plus
Proficiency in email design platforms, content management systems and related technologies
Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Products
- Experience with MobileCause or similar online fundraising and event software is a plus
Must be a collaborator and able to manage multiple projects to achieve operational goals
Creative problem solver with strong customer-centered mindset
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Willingness to learn skills and continue to educate oneself on new social media and communication trends
Flexible and willing to work some evening and weekend events
