Supports the strategic fundraising responsibilities of Allina Health Philanthropy’s Annual Giving Program by creating and executing fundraising strategies for in- and out-patient benefactor and prospective benefactor acquisition and renewal via direct mail and digital capabilities. Responsible for monitoring progress toward annual goals. This position will be led by a manager, in partnership with Agency of Record, to deliver on direct response fundraising strategies employing best practices and state-of-the-art techniques.

Principle Responsibilities:

Strategy

  • Designs and implements the Allina Health Philanthropy Annual Giving strategies.
  • Responsible for benefactor outreach and renewal and/or benefactor acquisition strategies to optimally support the benefactor pipeline.
  • Leads Allina Health’s Employee Giving Campaign, including collaboration with internal communication, brand strategy, etc.
  • Coordinates stewardship timelines with Benefactor Experience team to integrate into overall strategy.

Marketing and outreach

  • Provides content resources for Direct Response Program. 
  • Proofs and checks printed and electronic benefactor communications for direct response program. 
  • Prepares and analyzes data, identifying trends and performance.

Project management

  • Assists with Direct Response Project Management. 
  • Works under minimal supervision and may help guide the work of other team members. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in non-profit business or related field required 
  • 2 to 5 years experience in fundraising or sales required required
