You love design and aesthetics. You speak a wide variety of visual vernaculars. Most importantly, you understand how much meaning visuals alone can convey. We don’t need you to be a designer or graphic artist; you must appreciate and coordinate those disciplines in your more conceptual role. An Art Director must determine how to communicate thoughts, impressions, and messages visually to create feeling and belief. You may appreciate one style, but you see the value in a wide and diverse range of imagery and how each can serve a different need or task.
As our newest Art Director, you’ll envision and create the design and visual language of campaigns. Whether print, digital or anything in between, you’ll use integrated thinking to craft brand narratives visually. That said, you can communicate and persuade with excellent verbal and interpersonal skills to help your ideas sell long before they are fully realized. You can also juggle multiple assignments, prioritize intelligently, and hit multiple deadlines. You partner well, elevate the team with your skills and enthusiasm, and truly care about the quality of the final product, both its craft and market effectiveness.
