Art Director
Southeast Wisconsin
Kenosha/Hybrid, WI

We’re seeking a highly motivated and very talented Art Director with considerable experience producing effective ideas and strategic creative solutions executed and applied across multiple pieces in traditional and digital marketing channels.

As an Art Director, your experience has built you a great portfolio showing a variety of compelling visual work in print and digital applications. Not afraid of any challenge, you are skilled at producing effective marketing communications that engage customers, generate results, and get instant recognition from your peers. You live to make sense of chaos while being meticulous with the details. A keen sense of composition, typography and communication hierarchy drive every decision you make when solving complex creative challenges. You are equally comfortable sketching ideas, considering user experience, working with copywriters and creative directors, and storyboarding a short video.

From initial project kickoff to final review, you’ll lead by example a team that ensures the correct creative solution is provided within budget and on deadline. Balancing solid design solutions with project revisions, priorities and deadlines, accuracy, and effective communication all come second nature to you. Approachable and accessible, you set high creative standards and stop bad things from happening to great ideas. You keep the big picture in mind every day, while keeping multiple projects headed in the right direction.

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience and/or an exeptional portfolio
  • Instinctive talent in designing and producing great design solutions: composition, typography, photography and communication hierarchy
  • Ability to concept and produce basic video edits and/or motion graphics for social media and display 
  • Strong communications, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Expert knowledge and skill in Adobe Creative Suite: ideation, design, retouching, and file prep, basic video in AfterEffects
  • Accurate, organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to balance multiple projects, deadlines, and daily changes
  • Willingness to work on-site two days a week and felxibility to work this around client meetings
