Assistant Account Executive, Public Relations

The Assistant Account Executive will play a key supporting role in executing client communications programs through traditional and social media channels.

• Secure client media opportunities in trade, consumer, business media and other outlets, managing all steps of the process
• Conduct reliable and accurate media research (editorial calendars, speaking opportunities, media/analyst list development) and provide teams with industry-relevant news and research
• Produce strong written documents, including pitches, press releases, speaking opportunity abstracts, client communications, etc.
• Monitor clients' social media presence, draft social media posts on behalf of clients and track metrics (Facebook, Twitter updates, blogger relations, and more)
• Actively participate in client/team meetings, offering creative ideas/solutions

• One to two years of internship or post-college PR experience
• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing or a related field
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Willingness to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
• Ability to work with multiple clients simultaneously
• Excellent organizational skills
