C. Blohm & Associates, Inc. (CB&A), is seeking an experienced, highly organized, results driven full-time Assistant Account Executive to join our team. We offer a casual and collaborative work environment nestled in Monona, WI.

The Assistant Account Executive contributions will include:

  • Writing: Draft media communications, marketing content, social media copy and other writing assignments.
  • Account Coordination: Take ownership of client assignments from creation to execution to measurement. Manage up to account leads regarding projects and related deadlines. Assist in identifying opportunities, ideas and solutions for client campaigns including media relations angles and strategic marketing approaches. 
  • Client Account Management: Act as the day-to-day contact for assigned clients. Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns for assigned clients. Develop campaigns that strategically manage client resources while achieving stated goals and manage campaign activities on an ongoing basis. 
  • Marketing: Manage and support the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns including email marketing, ambassador programs, event management, media relations, thought leadership, content marketing, social media engagement and advertising. 
  • Business Networking/Relationships: Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and prospects, list vendors, media contacts, association executives, industry VIPs and bloggers. Exemplify the CB&A brand at all times. 
  • Confidentiality: Display a high level of integrity by maintaining the confidence of proprietary information. Protect all tangible and intangible company assets.

To be successful in this opportunity, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or equivalent work experience. 
  • At least 2-3 years relevant work experience in an account service role responsible for client and/or marketing communications. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, portraying a high degree of professionalism. High level of attention to detail and strong customer service skills with demonstrated relationship building skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and to solve problems. 
  • Ability to use discretion and judgment in dealing with sensitive and confidential information. 
  • Ability to foster teamwork and thrive in a collaborative environment. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
