To support our Creative Marketing Services Division, we are seeking an Assistant Art Director to collaborate with our team to develop and maintain a creative vision for our brands that speaks to our customers. If you have an eye for design and a passion for delivering dynamic ideas that connect with any audience, this could be the role for you!What You’ll Do You’ll partner with Creative partners in designing, developing and executing catalog pages and support materials, ensuring consistency to brand style guides. You’ll assist in developing the creative strategy, recommending methods of visual communications to improve sales and profitability. In addition, you’ll also be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and revising layouts for consistency to design strategy and optimum selling potential. Paying close attention to our Best Practices Guidelines and Brand Promises.
  • Accurately developing photo direction and communicating it to our photo studios.
  • Collecting comments from the Product Merchandise Manager and Brand Manager regarding potential revisions. Responsible for reviewing comments and establishing action plan with your Art Director.
  • Meeting all schedules, deadlines, and deliverable as established by supervisor and/or production manager.

We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong verbal and written communication skills with an experienced “eye” as applied to creative presentations. Ideally you will have a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Art, Design, Advertising, or a related discipline. In addition, we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in Direct Marketing or catalog environment. Must be knowledgeable of catalog trends and marketing cycles.
  • Strong technical skills specific to InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator
  • The ability to work with multiple cross functional partners.
  • The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities/tasks. Lead complex, multi-department projects to optimal completion.

This hybrid position is based at our headquarters in Monroe, WI, and you'll work onsite Tuesday – Thursday and may work remotely most Mondays and Fridays.
