Assistant Director of Communications

About this position

The Assistant Director of Communications is responsible to the Director of Communications for oversight and production of incoming requests for work, working with the Director to delegate assignments, and communicating the progress of the work to those requesting it. In the absence of the Director, they will oversee the office personnel and function as producer. This is a full-time position with a start date in early December.

About our ideal candidate

The ideal candidate is a servant leader who possesses a Bachelor’s degree and is a well-organized self-starter with excellent communication skills. Must have a general understanding of graphic design, printing process, electronic communications, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is helpful but not necessary.

Expected qualifications include exemplary commitment to a local Baptist church, and comfort and commitment to promote biblical principles, both in word and deed, while seeking to prepare godly servants and leaders.
