The Assistant Marketing Manager will work with internal and external partners to create and deliver multi-channel marketing programs that support the association’s brand and business objectives. In this role, the Assistant Manager will develop, implement, track and optimize marketing campaigns for various customer segments that increase awareness, penetration and market positioning. The Assistant Marketing Manager must be familiar with developing traditional and digital customer facing marketing plans, have excellent communication and project management skills, and be able to manage budgets.

Desired Skills & Expertise:

  • Experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing plans
  • Ability to create marketing programs that increase revenue and generate customer acquisition, conversion and retention.
  • Critical thinker with experience identifying target audiences and devising marketing campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Strong copywriting abilities.
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools a plus (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and support the marketing activities for a wide variety of product areas and business initiatives.
  • Create and execute customer centric, insights-based marketing campaigns that convey ASCP’s value, capabilities and market differentiation.
  • Evaluate campaign results and use data-driven decision-making to modify and optimize future strategies.
  • Collaborate with product managers and subject matter experts across the association to ensure customer segments, products and services are presented accurately and consistently while being compelling and engaging.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape in order to recommend changes to marketing strategies.
  • Prepare and adhere to marketing budgets for all product areas covered.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Work Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in marketing-specific roles Education
  • Background: Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business or related field preferred
  • Physical Abilities: Must be able to travel to occasional meetings (approximately twice a year); some light lifting may be required in setting up marketing booth for tradeshows.
