Key Responsibilities:

Ecolab has an opening for an Assistant Marketing Manager within the Nalco Water and Process Services Marketing Group, located in Naperville, Illinois. The Product Manager will be responsible for developing regional marketing programs to drive growth for specific industry segments within the Institutional market segment, including managing and commercializing new innovations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates activities including product development and product line management
  • Formulated pricing strategies and forward views versus action on history
  • Creation of SWOT analysis, business plan or other strategic document
  • Active participant in derivative and innovation projects
  • Completes Market/Situational Analysis and/or Sales & Marketing Plan
  • Begin to craft product line strategy and market analysis
  • Comprehends supply chain strategy and makes recommends/implements productivity improvements
  • Completes all required training; CSP and New Marketer
  • Project Leadership and management responsibilities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science, technical or engineering field
  • 4 + years of sales and/or marketing experience in a business to business environment
  • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Experience in the Chemical Water Treatment and/or Process industry
  • Experience in the Water Treatment and/or Paper Process industry
  • Experience with equipment and technology used in industrial applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strength in Microsoft office (Excel and PowerPoint), SAP, PROs Pricing Software
