Position Summary:

At FCB Chicago, the Associate Art Director is a junior position that utilizes basic desktop publishing skills. This position supports the senior art staff in the creation, revision and final production of all electronic media under the guidance of the Art Director and/or Associate Creative Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior art staff in creation/construction of comp layouts from either mac output or marker rendering 
  • Translate/ideate creative concepts and layouts into electronic form via mac publishing systems 
  • Create and prepare electronic media for interface with clients and outside vendors 
  • Utilize basic layout composition skills regarding typesetting and illustration

Requirements:

  • 0+ years of relevant experience 
  • Proficient in major desktop publishing software systems, primarily Quark Xpress, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator 
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience required
