Description & Requirements:

As an Associate Brand Manager - you will be at the center for some of the biggest decisions we make.

Associate Brand Managers are leaders in our business. You turn product ideas into iconic brands on the table. Your accountability will span across strategy- advertising- media- and agency management. You’ll drive cross-functional teams of colleagues from category marketing- sales- consumer insights and multiple agency partners to bring the brands innovation plan to life for consumers and drive overall category growth for retailers by focusing on bigger and bolder bets. You’ll craft innovative plans to deliver on annual and longer-term financial goal and bring the brand plan to life for consumers through development and executions of various marketing campaigns. This position is best suited for someone who is inventive- have a bias for action- and excellent communication skills. The incumbent will be able to work both horizontally and vertically across an organization to keep multiple projects and priorities moving forward to achieve success.

Key Components of the Role:

  • Drive the Italian Meals pipeline and new product development strategy and commercialization 
  • Lead major brand renovation initiatives that define the future for our brands and category 
  • Support the creation and validation of a multi-year innovation strategy that is rooted in significant consumer complexities 
  • Collaborate with S&D- R&D- Consumer Insights- Manufacturing- Engineering- Sales and Finance to take innovation ideas from concepts to reality 
  • Lead agency relationships for package design and creative communications for launch support 
  • Aide in sell-in of innovation with customer teams to drive innovation success 
  • Develop consumer programs and in-store partnerships with customer teams at launch 
  • Create breakthrough communications that will ignite brand awareness and equity- driving trial with consumers and long-term growth for the business 
  • Perform in-depth analysis and reporting of multi-channel marketing- promotional campaigns and programs to optimize their performance 
  • Use syndicated data sources to understand own and competitor innovation/renovation performance- bringing forth insights and recommendations that drive business impact 
  • Bring forth a consumer-first approach to day-to-day decisions ensuring the integrity of the brand remains protected while balancing financial and operational considerations
  • 4+ years’ experience in marketing for an established or startup CPG company or experience supporting on the agency side (advertising- consulting- media) 
  • Bachelor’s degree required - MBA preferred 
  • Marketing fanatic with a passion for consumer marketing- insights- trends and innovative product ideas 
  • Operates as an entrepreneur within a team and driven by results 
  • Advanced communication and leadership skills 
  • Strategic capability and marketing plan development; situation assessment- strategy and tactical plan development 
  • Experience in cross-functional team management and relationship building to garner success while driving projects forward 
  • Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver in agreed upon timelines 
  • Experience with marketing campaign development
