Associate Designer

At FCB Chicago, the Associate Designer is a maker and a storyteller who uses design to bring ideas to life. The Associate Designer leads projects into uncharted creative territories without blinking. This role requires a design fundamentalist, who approaches projects with both rational and innovative mindsets. The Associate Designer extends visual language and is always mindful of both how it looks and how it works. The Associate Designer reports to the Senior Designer or the Associate Design Director.

Responsibilities:

• Work under Senior Designers and Art Directors to solve an array of visual and marketing problems 
• Create design boards and identify how to extend the visual language for any given project 
• Assist with the creation of online visual design, typography, visual concept, logos, icons and other interactive platforms 
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, as directed

Requirements:

• 0+ years of relevant experience 
• Previous experience collaborating with Art Directors and Designers 
• Proficiency in Mac OSX, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office and Acrobat 
• Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience required
