Develop and continuously evolve Lundbeck’s content creation and distribution strategy to advance Lundbeck’s corporate reputation, build awareness of Lundbeck’s unique brand attributes, reinforce its leadership in neuroscience, and align public opinion and policy with Lundbeck’s positioning and business needs in the U.S. Enhance Lundbeck’s ability to effectively tell its story, internally and externally, through graphical, video, and audio channels in a time and cost-efficient manner to drive stakeholders to action.

Essential Functions:

Corporate Narrative, Content Strategy and Production

  • Develop compelling content strategies and lead content creation in support of Lundbeck’s corporate reputation 
  • Develop and maintain Lundbeck corporate narrative utilizing reputational data and insights, larger competive enviroment, and overall industry issues and trends 
  • Oversee team leading editorial social/shared and owned media calendar to continue to leverage Lundbeck’s key messages and align traditional, digital and social channels 
  • Develop and oversee production of high-quality, timely, relevant and socially shareable corporate, patient and executive content 
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of corporate materials to ensure all key stakeholders have crisp and relevant messaging and materials so they can take action or support Lundbeck 
  • Monitor industry trends to identify key topics and opportunities to benefit Lundbeck’s corporate reputation

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key media, community organizations and corporate influencers 
  • Build strong working relationships internally with marketing, medical and global colleagues to ensure content strategies are aligned cross-functionally and that content is being maximized and leveraged as widely as possible 
  • Build engagement with our stakeholders; use a data-driven approach and CRM system for non-personal promotion to advance our message and influence key stakeholders to action 
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Company policies and procedures

Employee Engagement to Drive Business Results

  • Manage and oversee the strategic direction of internal communication and employee engagement strategies. 
  • Foster alignment and adherence to corporate communications guidelines across Lundbeck US to ensure effective, clear and timely communications. 
  • Oversee Lundbeck US communications to drive employee understanding and action, to promote transparent and cohesive engagement, including sensitive organizational announcements and updates. 
  • Drive intranet communication strategy to ensure valuable and fresh information and an easy-to-navigate site. 
  • Plan and manage culture-related programs and internal events to foster meaningful touchpoints for employees to strengthen their connection to Lundbeck’s Purpose and Beliefs. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Accredited Bachelor’s degree 
  • 8+ years of communications-related experience 
  • Strong writer and communicator who can organize, summarize, clarify and communicate ideas simply, succinctly and accurately 
  • Self-starter, able to work well as a member of an integrated team, but can also work independently with limited oversight, and build key business relationships 
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into simple, straightforward, and relevant 
  • Acts with a sense of urgency, aligning with our cultural values including, patients-first.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Accredited Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism or related field 
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus 
  • Understanding of today’s communications environment among earned, owned, social and paid media and how to align and maximize opportunities provided by these channels. 
  • Ability to use data analytics to develop insights, test messaging, guide programming 
  • Ability to work well under pressure, and to deal well with competing priorities and a changing business environment 
  • Ability to work well with colleagues across functions and lead others without direct line reporting

Travel:

  • Willingness/Ability to travel up to 5-10% domestically. 
  • International travel may be required.
